Reunionese cuisine has a blend of rice, beans and rougail. Spices add to the flavour of the delicacy. One of the Reunionese chilli peppers is piment-zoiseau which is generally used in the spicy sauce called rougail. It usually accompanies the main dish which is a local curry mix.
