There are a number of ways to get into the country including boat, bus, car, train and plane. There are some limited international bus services that can be availed from some of the nearby countries including Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Georgia and Turkey. If you are coming via car you can access the Greek border by entering from any of the surrounding countries. You can even take a ferry from there the rest of the way.

By Rail

You can take any of the international trains that will bring you into the country and this is one of the easiest ways to get from the many different countries to here.

By Air

The main airport is located in Athens and is called the Elefthérios Venizélos International Airport and you can reach here from almost any airport in the world. Also, there are a number of other airports that can be flown into including Corfu, Rhodes, Thessaloniki and Heraklion.

By Water

There are many different ferries that can travel to the country and the best ones come from Italian ports such as Bari, Brindisi, Ancona, Trieste and Venice. Also, if you are taking a ferry you can travel from Turkey, Israel, Cyprus, Larnaca and Egypt.
