There are two daily flights from Amman to Aqaba by Royal Jordanian and the King Hussein International airport is located 20 minutes away. Turkish Airlines also has a number of flights and Jetairfly.com connects Brussels to Aqaba twice a week.
By Sea
There are ferries which run regularly to Taba and Nuweiba. Generally visa is not required to enter Jordan via Aqaba.
By Road
Mini bus rental is available from Petra to Aqaba and it costs 45 JD with a driver, reaching you in 2 hours.
By Bus
There are plenty of buses to Amman and other points along the Desert Highway. The distance from Amman to Aqaba is 350 kms and it takes approximately 4 hours.
