Significance

Fira

Capital city of Santorini displays iconic and beautiful white cubic houses and lovely blue roofs, little squares, blue-domed churches and winding lanes are its most distinguishing features, can be reached by an exciting cable car ride from Skala, it is primarily a tourist hub with amazing hotels, cafes, souvenir and boutique shops etc., home to the famous Archaeological Museum showcasing interesting artefacts from Ancient Thira including those of Dorian, Roman, Byzantine and Hellenistic eras

Oia

Situated 12 km away from Fira, lovely village marked by charming whitewashed houses, several houses are turned into modish boutiques and resorts with infinity pools which overlook Caldera, it is an upmarket tourist spot featuring zigzag pathways leading to the town from Ammoudi Bay, seaside eateries, and gorgeous sunsets

Sea water filled crater which was formed to a historic and massive volcanic eruption about 3600 years ago which led to the blowing off of the island’s centre, a site of still-active volcanoes, features exquisite seascape ideal for photography or watching sunsets, perfect for a day-long excursion and memorable brunches at Thirassia

Kameni Island

Part of Caldera, home to famous hot springs and other geothermal activities including gas emissions, offers superb scenery, popular among tourists who arrive here to bathe in the healing waters of natural hot springs and enjoy seafood by the sea
