BorraCaves sit on an altitude of about 3,100 feet above sea level on the Eastern Ghats. You can take a train from Visakhapatnam which is 112 kilometers away. A train journey to the ArakuValley passes through 46 tunnels and bridges, giving you picturesque views of the flowing streams. The BoraCaves are a major attraction in the valley.

Belum Caves

The Belum caves are the second-largest natural caves in India. They lie under agricultural land and have long passages and fresh water galleries. Charminar

The Charminar is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Andhra Pradesh. The purpose of creating this monument was to ward off epidemic outbreaks in the city. The Charminar is a structure of four 48.7 metre high minarets made with granite. The four arches give the monument its name, with ‘char’ being the Hindi translation of ‘four’. The base of each minar is supported by a lotus leaf structure, which is a special and recurring motif observed in QtubShahi buildings. The first floor earlier housed a madarasa during the QutbShahi period, while the second floor has a mosque at the western side. Golconda Fort

QutbShahi kings took over the fort and rebuilt it over a span of 62 years before it was taken over by Aurangzeb. QutbShahi Tombs

The Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad

This museum houses the personal antique collection of Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III. Some of the notable collections include Chinese porcelain, Mughal miniatures, Persian carpets, and Japanese lacquerware, among others. It also houses sculptures such as Veiled Rebecca, Marguerite and Mephistopheles. Daggers that once belonged to Noor Jahan, Jahangir and Shah Jahan can also be found here.

 

The Nizam's Museum, Hyderabad

Before being converted, the Nizam's Museum was a palace acquired by the second Nizam in 1750. By Rail:Vikarabad railhead is the closest to the Ananthagiri Hills. The hills are approximately 6-7 km away from the railway stations, and it would take you 15-20 minutes to reach there.

By Road: Hyderabad is connected directly to Vikarabad by State Highway 4 (SH4)uptoManneguda. It will take you 2-3 hours approximately to reach there from the city.

By Bus: There are regular buses from Hyderabad to Vikarabad run by TSRTC, from where you can take an auto or another bus to reach the Ananthagiri Hills.

It is most likely recommended to take the roadways, as it is the quickest and the most budget-friendly way to reach the hills in a less amount of time.
