The city doesn't really have a flea market per se, but they do have a huge street market called Mutrah Souq. In this market, you can find anything you can ever imagine and at great prices.

When you are looking for the department stores, the best place to look is always the malls or the streets for shopping. However, in Muscat the best place to find them is the huge mall, which has stores such as Gap, Marks & Spencers, Zara and much more.
