Pushkar is an important pilgrimage of Hindus & it is believed that a Hindu must visit Pushkar once in his lifetime. A very divine and peaceful place of Rajasthan which always has the sounds of chants, rituals and bhajans (devotional songs), which is very soothing to the ears. Pushkar Fair is organised everywhere where thousands of pilgrims come to visit Pushkar. It begins with Kartik Ekadashi and ends with Kartik Poornima. It is the biggest fair for the trading of camels and cattle’s. During Pushkar Fair, a lot of Hindus come for bathing in Pushkar Lake. Many competitions are also held during Pushkar Fair such as “Longest Moustache, Beautiful Bride, Mathka Phod” etc.
