How to Reach bandhavgarh

Via Umaria – Umaria is the nearest town and is 37 kilometers (45 mins) away from Bandhavgarh. It is well connected by road and railways. Via Katni – Katni is an important railway junction and is 100 kilometres (2 and a half hours) away from Bandhavgarh. Via Jabalpur – Jabalpur is the biggest city close to Bandhavgarh and is 190 kilometers away. Jabalpur is well connected with the rest of the country via train as well as flights.

There are a number of railway options which connect cities like Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Kolkata etc. to the major railway stations which are Katni and Jabalpur from where Bandhavgarh can be reached via road. There is also a direct overnight train which runs between Delhi and Umaria (37 kilometers away from Bandhavgarh)

The nearest commercial airport is at Jabalpur (190 kilometers away from Bandhavgarh). Jabalpur has major air connectivity with the rest of India including direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai. Umaria also has a small air-strip facility where private chartered flights can land. However, Air India and Spice Jet offer flights to Jabalpur on a daily basis from Delhi and Mumbai.
