By Rail
The railway station is located just 5 km away from the main city. Currently only a select few trains arrive here from a few cities in India. But the nearby Mahoba Juction receives trains from all over the country which is only 75 km away from Khajuraho. Taxis are available to Khajuraho from Mahoba station.
By Road
Khajuraho can be reached by road from numerous well known cities in India. The city is well linked to the National Highway No. 75, which runs across the country. Frequent bus service by the State run Transport Corporation to Khajuraho is available at regular intervals, from the nearby towns of Satna and Jhansi.
