Murudeshwara is home to the second largest statue of Lord Shiva in the world. This statue is part of the Murudeshwara Temple which is located at a beautiful place beside the beach. This statue stands 20 stories tall and has modern facilities like elevators for visitors to go right till the top if they wish to. The view from on top is magnificent as it gives you the view of the Arabian Sea on three sides and the mighty Western Ghats on one side.
