Kaziranga National Park In North East

UNESCO Heritage Site, Kaziranga National Park is a home to one-horned rhinos. With more than 35 species of mammals and migratory birds that fly down every season, the story of this park is unlike any lore ever told. 

 

Location: Kanchanjuri, Assam.

 

Known for: One-horned rhinoceros.

 

How to reach: Furkating Junctions railway stations is the nearest railway station to this place. 

 

Approximate Cost: It can cost you INR 25 to 1500 depending on the rides you choose in the area. The entry fees are INR 100 per person for Indians. 

 

Operating hours: 24 hours. 

 

Any precautions/ must carry items etc.: Wear comfortable shoes, as this area can get tacky during monsoons.
