Another interesting museum is the Celebrity Wax Museum, on the lines of Madame Tussauds of London. The museum is situated on the banks of Periyar and is owned and run by a famous wax sculptor Sunil Kandallor. The museum currently has more than 50 life-sized statues made of wax; of various celebrities, politicians and personalities.
