This castle is located in Florentinerberg which is a hill overlooking Baden-Baden. The New Castle or NeuesSchloss is also a former residence for the Margaves of Baden. However, this building is now in private hands, restricting your visit inside. However, you can always wander up to the terrace in front of the castle where breathtaking views of the town would await you. Here is fun fact, did you know that the entire contents of the castle was sold by Sotheby’s in a particular auction in 1995. However, in October 2003, the NeuesSchloss was sold to the Kuwaiti Al Hassawi Group who are rumored to be renovating the building and converting it into a luxury hotel.
