Enter the magical world of nature and wildlife at Orbi Dubai. It is the latest multi-sensory and interactive attraction in Dubai brought by the fusion of SEGA and BBC Earth. Dive into nature with 4D special effects and 3D films that were shot especially for Orbi by BBC Earth’s natural history team and has been amplified with smells, wind, water effects and motion controls programmed by Sega boffins. A total of 11 attractions, Orbi provides an immersive experience by transporting you to the habitats of the wildlife.

Blue Layer – A trip into the depths of the water, this attraction is equipped with a 12-meter-wide circular screen taking the viewer on a journey to visit some of the unknown creatures and uncovering unique facts about them.
Mountain Gorilla in 4D Theater – Join the BBC Earth crew as they take you on an excursion into the jungle of Uganda to film the gorillas in their natural environment. A natural immersive 4D experience with sound and light effects, moving seats and shot in 3D.
African Elephants – Embark on a journey with the African Elephants as they set out to migrate from the harsh dry environment in search of water to survive. Orbi transports you to the center of the herd wherein you can feel the vibration of their stomping feet. Learn about the life endured by wildlife in Africa.
Earth Cruising- Take the flight for a unique opportunity to cruise the world hopping onto different continents as the various gorgeous breathtaking destinations unfold right beneath you. With thousands of aerial photography captured by BBC, Orbi Dubai gives a glimpse of the world slowing down for close encounters with stunning mountain peaks, golden sand dunes, cascading waterfalls, lush greenery and a multitude of animals. Frozen Mt. Kenya – An invigorating and exhilarating attraction, frozen Mt. Kenya transports you to sub-zero temperatures. Feel the chills as you undertake the experience at -25°C and observe your body temperature dropping via thermal imaging. A truly unforgettable experience.
Animalpedia – A major interactive experience, discover facts about a wide range of animals as you position yourself in front of the giant interactive screen which scans your movement of virtually reaching out to an animal and responding with pop-up facts. This is an absolute favourite attraction for kids and adults alike.
Earth Palette – A visual treat, this attraction uses colours as a theme to introduce you to nature and animals while revealing interesting nuggets of information about the imagery surrounding the guests on an 8-foot-tall surrounding screen. Place an item on a table in the middle of the room where a camera reads the colour and pulls up imagery of nature, landscapes and animals of the same colour and describes how plants and animals use colour to camouflage from predators and appeal to mates.
Extreme Photo Spot – A fun and enjoyable attraction, this photobooth allows kids and adults alike to pose in front of images of various animals in their natural environment and manipulate the pictures to get the best memorable clicks and save them on your Orbi Dubai wristband and view them later in the “photo diary”.
Time Slice – Compete with the fastest animals in the world. Time Slice gauges your ability to shake your head, flap your arms and jump as high as you can in relation to the animal and will play back your captured effects immediately. You can save these pictures in your Orbi Dubai wristband.
Base Camp – A projection mapping technique, Orbi Dubai uses images captured by BBC and projects them through a standalone sculpture. The sculpture changes character to represent different animals which interact with touch. Get enchanted by these images and marvel at the beauty of planet Earth.
Earth Theatre 23.4 – A unique attraction, step into the theatre to get mesmerized by the surreal beauty of the world as it plays on the largest screen in the world augmented by the generation of wind, fog and smells to enhance the experience. Named after the tilt of the axis, experience a lifetime opportunity of watching the nature on a 40-meter-wide screen and two more screens behind the audience with 3D sound and filmed by BBC Earth.
