How to Reach flam

By Rail

Flam is easily approachable from Oslo or Bergen with the Flam railway station being among the most celebrated ones in all of Norway. The Flam Railway runs about 10 times in a day from May to October and four times a day in other months. The Flam Railway is directly connected to Myrdal, from where it is possible to connect to Oslo or Bergen.

By Air

Sogndal Airport Haukasen is about 70 kilometers from Flam. A flight from Oslo would take you about 50 minutes.

By Sea

There is an express boat service between Flam and Bergen from the beginning of May to the end of September.

By Bus

Fjord1 makes regular visits between Flam and neighboring districts. The Nor-Way Bussekspress makes a long trip from Flam to Oslo or Bergen with around six services in a day.
