Best Time To Visit:

Disneyland Paris is open 365 days of the year. However, opening and closing times may vary, based on the season and sometimes the parks may stay open for special events. Disneyland Paris tickets for adults cost around 47 Euros, while tickets for children between the ages 311 costs around 43 Euros.

How to reach Disneyland Paris:

Metro or RER (Reseau Express Regional) is a network of express trains that speed between central Paris and the suburbs. Trains to Disneyland run every 15 minutes, and the Disneyland (MarnelaValee) station is in zone 5 of the Metro system. The station is a 2minute walk from the park gates.

Disneyland Paris, once known as Euro Disney Resort, consists of two theme parks, hotels and resorts, nature resorts, an entertainment, shopping and dining complex, a golf course and many entertainment venues. Disneyland Park is the original theme park of this complex, opening in 1992. A second theme park – Walt Disney Studios Park – was inaugurated in 2002. Interesting Facts about Disneyland Paris

  • At any time in the park, you’ll only find one Mickey Mouse in the entire Park
  • On the Main Street in Disneyland Paris, you’ll find a real barber at work (this was a tribute to Walt Disney’s father who was a barber)
  • Some parade floats dispense lovely perfumes and scents as they move through their routes
  • The lighting on 13 of the parade floats amounts to 700,000 bulbs
  • The number of costumes at Disneyland Paris is the largest in Europe, numbering around 250,000 costumes in stock
  • The park’s sewing workshop creates 5,000 costumes annually (some of them require over 200 hours of work)
  • If you take a picture of the castle guards at the Sleeping Beauty castle using flash, one turns pink and the other turns blue
  • The 15,000 or so employees at Disneyland Paris represent a hundred different nationalities
  • The park boasts of 450 different plant species and 35,000 trees
