Kedarnath is one of the Chaar Dhaams of the Hindu pilgrimage sites. The Chaar Dhaam is considered to be the holiest places on earth, hence Kedarnath is always filled with thousands of pilgrims. The Kedarnath Temple has stood tall against the test of time and was one of the few monuments who did not succumb to the natural calamity which occurred at Uttarakhand in 2013. Kedarnath is an extremely popular town which offers an outstanding view of the snow:capped mountains and rivers.
