Kruger National Park In South Africa

Easily the most famous wildlife park in the world, Kruger National Park lies among the best attractions in South Africa. It is the place where you can get to look at the Big 5: Lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants and buffalos. This game reserve is one of the oldest ones in the country and is located around 4 hours of car drive away from Johannesburg. Also famed as an archaeological site and for the bushman cave paintings, Kruger park is indeed a must visit place in Rainbow Nation. You can opt for an organized walking tour or a jeep safari to take a look at the amazing grasslands, beautiful forest and woven river system in the area, and also opt for a hot balloon ride for an even more memorable time here.

How to reach: OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg is the closest airport to the park gates located in Limpopo and Mpumalanga villages, from where you can hire a cab or bus to reach the park. A train to Hoedspruit to Pretoria can also be used to reach the park gate at Hoedspruit.
