Onam In Kerala

This 10-day celebration is a pure feast for the eyes! It is a harvest festival of Kerala which is celebrated to commemorate the Vamana avatar of Lord Vishnu and homecoming of King Mahabali. With delicious dishes, music, dances, rituals, and boat races; Kerala turns into an incredibly vibrant place. Onam falls between August and September.

  • Why you should attend this: There is a colorful extravaganza of dances and fireworks all over the state. You should attend this most importantly for the Onam Sadhya, which is a customary feast comprising a vegetarian meal.
