During summers and monsoon, the climate is pleasant and cold is bearable. Sarahan is a pleasant retreat from high temperatures of most north Indian cities. There can be sudden drops in temperatures so woollens are recommended.
During winter, the temperatures can reach negative mark. For winter lovers, Sarahan makes for a beautiful spot. Skiing and snow treks are organized keeping the weather conditions in mind. December to February is the snowfall months in the region.
