Situatedat an altitude of 7,407 feet above sea level, this little town is famous for housing the highest railway station in the country. That is not the only reason why you should visit Ghum, however. There are a number of tourist attractions in Darjeeling such as the Ghum Monastery known to enshrine the rare image of Maitreye Buddha and the famed War Memorial over here.
