Popularly known as the Dakshin Dwarka, Guruvayoor temple is one of its kind. There is a 33.5 m tall Dhwajastambham amidst the courtyard which is gold plated and is home to Lord Krishna. It is the most preferred temple for marriages and rice feeding ceremonies in Kerala.
