Places to visit in Pench

There is no religious culture in the area. However, if you want to visit any of the temples there are quite a few in the nearby cities and you can take a day trip to visit them. Make sure that if you want to, you have all of the arrangements set up.

Sadly, there aren't any museums in the area, but that is alright because the national park will tell you a story of its own. You have to bring a guide with you, whether you are going on a safari with a rented jeep or in your own car so have the guide tell you the history of the area.

There is so much to see around here, especially the entire national park. The park is one of the most beautiful places in the area and should definitely be visited and here you can try to spot a huge variety of different animals including tigers, elephants and a huge variety of wild birds.

This area is full of nature which means you can spend a lot of time communicating with it. However, there won't be a lot of chances to get out into the wild, unless you are staying in a hotel nearby because it is dangerous to wander around the forest area because of the different species of animals. You should definitely visit the Pench River and sit down, relax and rejuvenate on the banks of the river if you can.

There isn't much in the area that is cultural, unless you consider the park itself a cultural aspect. There is a river which is what the park as named after that runs throughout the whole area. Also, you can get any information you want about the culture of the area from the guides.

The most famous landmark of the area is the Kullu Tree. The tree is one that most people love to visit and will stare at it for quite some time as it is very unique as compared to the rest of the park. The tree is covered in bark that is white and the branches spread out like they are welcoming you with open arms.

The safaris will take you right out into the heart of the national park which means you will be surrounded by nature. Not only will you be able to look out for the many different animals that call the park home, but you will be able to enjoy the many different varieties of plants and trees that grow in this area. You should even make sure to stop nearby the Pench River and relax on the river bank.

There aren't any monuments in the area, unless you consider the gates. These gates are the most famous parts of the park and are called Karmajhiri and Turiya. Not only do these gates allow you to enter the park, but they are one of the landmarks of the area.
