Anytime is a good time for this country but you might want to check with theconsulate because at times political instability may not be conducive for travelling here. Now, weather may be a hindrance between May and mid August when it is the wet season and exploring rainforests during this time will not be possible.
Flash floods are also quite common during this time. The best times are between January and April and then from mid-August to mid-November.
