Once you reach Senegal, you will find plenty of taxis, taxi-brousses, taxi-clandos, car-charette, and transport communs. Buses run through Senegal but you can hire a car from a car hire company in Dakar. However, the main way of going from one place to another in Senegal is by sept places which are basically makeshift station wagons that can fit seven people. You can rent out a whole sept place in order to make your journey more comfortable.
