Carib's Leap

This is a steep cliff that you can visit and look down on the St. Patrick Cemetery. This monument is also called the monument of Leaper's Hill and is important to the Carib people who had originally lived on the island before it was taken over by the French and British. Here, around 40 people had jumped to their death after the French were ordered to enslave them and there is a plaque that gives the history.
