There is a large pile of stones that has stayed intact and survived numerous earthquakes in the last 250 years. As you go inside, be prepared to see the devout kneeling while worshipping the El Cristo or Black Christ. Around 15thJanuarythere is an annual festival for which pilgrims come here.

Kids can have fun visiting the children’smuseum in ZonaViva in the capital;they can visit thexocomil which is a water park; it is even fun tovisit the Mayan ruins or indulge in swimming or turtle race. There is also a zoo in the capital city.
