Place's to visit in Tallinn

Placed at the core of this ancient hanseatic town, the Town Hall Square plays a prominent role in present Tallinn as well. In summer it is a venue for festivals, fairs and concerts and in winter it turns out to be a spectacular Christmas market, which draws lots of tourists.

This beautiful memorial located in the Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn, is dedicated to the renowned Estonian singer and composer, Gustav Ernesaks.

Constructed in 1902, this renowned sculpture depicts an angel positioning an orthodox cross in the route of a buried ship, which is a memorial of the Russian Vessel victims.

This Park was, earlier a part of Cederhilms Hofchen which was a summer manor house of the 18th century. The park still preserves the old world charm of lovely orchards and oak tree pathways.

The St. Satherine’s Passage in the old town is very popular with its old world charm among locals and tourists, which has a steep passage called the ‘Long Leg’ leading to the Toompea hill.

Boasted as a cultural destination with natural beauty, Viimsi Peninsula is just 15 km away from Tallinn city centre. It includes a Vimsii Open Air Museum, Estonian War Museum and the Museum of Coastal Folk.

The wonderful Kadriorg area, outside the old Tallinn, has large playgrounds, ponds, parks and fountains for the kids to have fun. Pirita area is chic and thrilling where kids can indulge in beach activities and water sports or just play around in the beach and go for a boat ride as well. Kids will enjoy Rocca al Mare, which accommodates the Tallinn Zoo, and the splendid Estonian Open Air Museum has a lot of fun to offer for the kids. The Kalamaja Childrens Museum is full of art and science wonders for children.

This Orthodox cathedral in the name of Saint Alexander Nevsky was constructed in 1900 under the Roman ruling, and this is the largest cupola cathedral in Tallinn.
