Places to visit in Zambia

It is an Iron Age site where axes and daggers were sharpened at 11°20' S 29°33' E. This is a prehistoric monumental site. You can see the stone slabs which were used to sharpen the metal. It’s like travelling through time. You cannot exactly place the experience of witnessing something like this in words.

This is located in the Srinji district where you can witness the 12, 000 year old rock paintings in all their glory. The semi circular cave is 20 metres wide, 20 metres deep and eight metres high. Also it holds some of the best rock paintings found all over the country.

You get a variety of attractions specifically built for children throughout the country. You will find a few amusement parks and paint ball arenas in Lusaka. It is a great place for kids. This museum is located in the northern province of Mbala. It mainly specialises of showcasing artefacts on Zambian folklore and culture. You learn a lot when you walk through these walls and it’s a splendid experience altogether.

The Livingstone museum has four sections, Art, Prehistory, Ethnography and culture. You get to see a lot of tools and other objects being used by people over the ages.

Emerging from the borders of Zambia and Zimbabwe, one of the largest water falls in the world. It’s one of the most majestic waterfalls in the world. You get to see the splendid beauty of this Godly structure up close when you visit this country.
