Fernhill Palace In Ooty

Raj Bhavan of Dodabetta was also a summer retreat for the governors of Madras. Duke Buckingham (then Governor of Madras) built this building in 1877. His portrait along with other portraits of important English personality has been well kept inside this Government House.
