This place has some amazing waterfalls, and there are about three of the one of which is located six km away, and that is Lingmala Falls. The water plunges down from a height of 500 feet and is formed by the river Venna. In the rainy season, you can see the true glory of this waterfall. The second waterfall is situated about three km away from the main city and is known as the DhobiFalls. The water from this fall plunges down in a deep valley and then from there it immerses in the river Koyna. The third one is Chinamons falls that is a great place with exotic Chinese cultivated gardens and is located about 2.5 km away from the city.
