Being located in the Southern Hemisphere, the Aux Cerf Island (Mauritius in general) has its winter between May to November, the weather during this time being warm and dry.
Post November you have a hot, wet, humid summer till May. Tropical cyclones are not uncommon during November to April, and these may become natural hazards under extreme conditions. Most cyclones usually occur from the end of December until March.
