Given the fact that Cusco is located 11,000 feet up in the sky, the altitude here takes some getting used to. The city generally sees two kinds of climate, dry from April to October and wet from November to March. The best time to visit Cusco is between the months of June and September. This is the peak tourist season with the best weather conditions.
