The NorthPacificFishingVillage is an amazing heritage site situated right outside of Prince Rupert and with the passage of time. This village has become home to one of the oldest canneries in Prince Rupert along with another small village that happens to be a great representative of the turn of the century cannery. You cannot afford to missNorthPacificFishingVillage when you visit this place. There are various displays and buildings in the region and all of them are exquisitely detailed and worth the visit. You can experience the guided tours that take place in the cannery all day long and view the live reenactments and demonstrations. Of all the different interesting displays at the site, the most interesting one is definitely the canning line which still remains totally functional and is turned on different times during the day for the examination of the visitors. Other features include the old residences in the area, the net loft and its old relics, lot of ancient documents and artifacts along with various offices and buildings.
